December 26, 2024 · by johntarheel76

Kwanzaa, a cultural celebration of African American heritage, is observed annually from December 26th to January 1st. This week-long holiday honors African American history and culture, emphasizing principles such as unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith.

During Kwanzaa, 1 families and communities gather to light the Kinara, a seven-candle holder, one candle each night. Each candle represents one of the seven principles. Kwanzaa is a time for reflection, celebration, and a commitment to building strong communities.

We wish everyone a joyous Kwanzaa filled with love, peace, and prosperity. May this holiday season bring you happiness and fulfillment.
