Homecoming Season
Hey everyone, it’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is homecoming season. Now, I won’t tell you how long it’s been since I was in high school, but here in Texas when it’s homecoming season, all the girls wear these huge mums and you would think they’d be this size. No, they’re like the size of the front of a Buick. So mums are an important culture item down here. What’s an important culture item for homecoming where you’re at? You obviously have the homecoming game, the homecoming dance. What is it about high school and homecoming that you could talk about?
You also might put out a little schedule about where all the homecomings are for each high school, so people know which weekend, which high school is going to have their big parade and their big event. So you can also talk about teen drinking. You can also talk about being a responsible community member, and doing things for the high school. So, anyway, find a way to talk about high schools, education in your area, homecoming and celebrating what these kids are going through. So, anyway, Bob McCranie, Texas Pride Realty, Class of ’85. Take care. Bye-bye.
Home & Garden Shows
Nine Eleven
Hey, everyone, it’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty. And today’s realty idea is gonna be very somber, 9/11. It’s interesting to me there are some people who were not old enough to remember 9/11 now. And for those of us who lived through it, it’s marked in our brains. So, maybe we talk today very quietly about the memorial. Maybe we talk today about what it meant to us and then we stay pretty much quiet the rest of the day and just listen. And that may be what we put on our social media is just a question. What does 9/11 mean to you? And see what the response is and then don’t really judge any responses, just say, “Thank you for the response,” build that connection. But today would be a day that I’m quiet and I will listen to what other people post on my thread and then tomorrow I will be much more active. So, take care. Have a great day. Keep safe.
Favorite Part of the Season!
Hey everybody, its Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is, “Ask people what their favorite part of the changing season is.” So, for some people, it’s the pumpkin spice latte, which I can still never say with a straight face. I don’t drink coffee, but everybody loves pumpkin spice latte, so…or pumpkin spice biscuits or pumpkin spice whatever. Pumpkin becomes everything. What is your favorite part of the holiday? Maybe you share what your favorite part is or you just go out there and ask. Put out a poll and say, “What is your favorite part of the changing season? Now, the reason we’re doing this, it seems it has nothing to do with real estate, it has everything to do with real estate because what we’re doing is we’re building the connectivity. Always be asking questions. When somebody answers the question, answer back. Always be responding to questions. Don’t just go like, respond, respond, respond. That way when we are talking about, you know, the change of the season, the autumn leaves, whatever, Facebook goes, oh my gosh, these people like to talk and then when you post an open house it’ll show up to them. Take Care. Bob McCranie, realty ideas per day. There will be another realty idea in your mailbox tomorrow.
Autumn Leaves
Hey, everyone, it’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty and your realty idea of the day is autumn leaves. Now, if you live in the New England area or you live up on the northern part of the country, your autumn leaves are probably starting about now, so you should probably get out there and tell people where they should go and watch the autumn leaves, where’s the best place to get those vantage shots of the wide field of colors or the mountain ranges changing.
I live in Texas, so we’re gonna get a week and a half of autumn leaves and then they’ll be done. So, we won’t know exactly when that’s gonna hit. Probably it’ll be in October, but now’s the time to start posting about the change of season. Start talking about where in your area they can see natural beauty. Out here we have an arboretum that does a really great fall show, but you wanna get to it early because if you go a little later in the season, the fall show’s kind of peaked.
So, anyway, start talking about autumn leaves on your social media. Post pictures. Tell people where to go to get those great shots of their family.
