I am so proud to run Texas Pride Realty Group. We set out on a mission in 2009 to serve the diverse communities of Texas and to hire kick-ass agents who practice the highest ethics and professionalism. I believe that the agent's role is to help the consumer make well-educated decisions, even if those decisions lead away from a purchase or sale.

I believe that education is vital in this industry. I currently have over 1300 hours of real estate courses on my transcript with the State of Texas. Additionally, I am a Real Estate Business Coach at Tom Ferry International, the largest-real-estate specific coaching company in the world. I coach agents in the US and Canada, and have coached clients in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and Switzerland. I also have knowledge of the UK and Irish markets.

Opening Texas Pride Realty was always a goal of mine and I am working night and day to be sure it is successful. The best way to do that is to be sure clients are satisfied and agents are busy. What better legacy could someone leave in this industry than a group of well-trained, high-quality brokers who do your job better than you?

Senior Centers

September 16, 2018 · by Bob McCranie
Hey everyone. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is very near and dear to my heart, senior centers. Okay. So a lot of cities in my area have their own senior facility. These are places that people can go during the day. They have activities, they have community centers, they are places that people can hang out in the heat and in the cold when their home may not be well insulated or well taken care of, they can go to these places and be safe and a lot of the times they can get a meal. So, find the senior centers in your area, find whatever’s available for seniors in your area. You might not just find the municipal ones, you also might find the ones that are private. Maybe there’s senior living facilities that you could talk about and places that mom and grandma could go to. So, find out about seniors in your area, be a source for that because you know what, seniors need to sell their houses and people who are caring for seniors need to have support. So, Bob McCranie, Texas Pride Realty. Bye-bye.

New Construction Neighborhoods

September 15, 2018 · by Bob McCranie
Hey, everyone. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is new construction neighborhoods. So, one of the most profitable transactions we have as real estate agents is selling new construction homes. They often pay a higher commission, they pay a bonus, and frankly, I don’t know if you have a seller’s market right now, but in a strong seller’s market wherever a existing home has 16 offers, new construction doesn’t. So it’s an easier way for us to sell a product to a client who really wants it, and we get a higher commission. So go tour new construction homes. Get out there, go see them. Take pictures, take video, interview the new home construction person because, you know, they got nobody else to talk to all day on a weekday. Go out there and try to get in with them and understand what their product is, and then go back and sell it to your people. So, new construction neighborhoods, let’s talk about them. If you’re in the inner city and you don’t have new construction, maybe there’s new buildings, maybe there’s a teardown, there’s new developments going in. Find it. Bob McCranie, realty ideas per day. There’ll be another realty idea posted tomorrow. Bye-bye.

Christmas Decor

September 14, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey, everyone.  I know it seems a little early, but it’s not. It’s Christmas decor time. So if you decorate for the holidays like I do, I put up five Christmas trees. It’s a crime. I’m sorry. I do. Five Christmas trees. And my decorations go up the day after Thanksgiving, some of them go up early.

Now is the time to go hit the home and garden stores and figure out what holiday decor you want before everybody else that goes and buys it. Get out there now and find it and have it and you’ll have the best yard, it’ll be amazing. What is that, Christmas vacation? Yeah, you want to have that amazing yard. You also want to start talking about where people decorate a lot so that people…that would be another realty idea later, but look surprised when you see it. So go out to Home Depot, go to Lowe’s, go on Amazon, find the decor you want and put it out there. Tell everybody, “Hey everybody. I’m at these stores. Here’s what they have now. Go get it.” I know Halloween isn’t here yet. Go get it now.

Talk to you tomorrow. Bye.

Homecoming Season

September 13, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey everyone, it’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is homecoming season. Now, I won’t tell you how long it’s been since I was in high school, but here in Texas when it’s homecoming season, all the girls wear these huge mums and you would think they’d be this size. No, they’re like the size of the front of a Buick. So mums are an important culture item down here. What’s an important culture item for homecoming where you’re at? You obviously have the homecoming game, the homecoming dance. What is it about high school and homecoming that you could talk about?

You also might put out a little schedule about where all the homecomings are for each high school, so people know which weekend, which high school is going to have their big parade and their big event. So you can also talk about teen drinking. You can also talk about being a responsible community member, and doing things for the high school. So, anyway, find a way to talk about high schools, education in your area, homecoming and celebrating what these kids are going through. So, anyway, Bob McCranie, Texas Pride Realty, Class of ’85. Take care. Bye-bye.

Home & Garden Shows

September 12, 2018 · by Bob McCranie
Hey, everyone. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is when we hit on in the spring and in the fall, home and garden shows. Now, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, there are probably four home and garden shows throughout the year that people can go to. There’s usually 200 or 300 vendors there and they are doing everything from patios to roofing, to windows, to hot tubs we talked about the other day, to landscaping, to anything related to a home. Some people are doing things not related to homes like insurance policies and legal systems, the legal aid things. Anyway, go to these shows, take a thousand pictures and post them everywhere. Talk about each of the vendors. Maybe do a little video interview with each of the vendors. For the people who can’t get to the home and garden show, it’s a great way for you to bring it to them and for you to have a registered list of experts who can help with any facet of home improvement. And it’s a great way to get seen by people and then you can ask, “Hey, out of all these vendors, which one would you want for your home?” Anyway, put it all out there on your social. Talk to you tomorrow. Bye-bye.

Nine Eleven

September 11, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey, everyone, it’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty. And today’s realty idea is gonna be very somber, 9/11. It’s interesting to me there are some people who were not old enough to remember 9/11 now. And for those of us who lived through it, it’s marked in our brains. So, maybe we talk today very quietly about the memorial. Maybe we talk today about what it meant to us and then we stay pretty much quiet the rest of the day and just listen. And that may be what we put on our social media is just a question. What does 9/11 mean to you? And see what the response is and then don’t really judge any responses, just say, “Thank you for the response,” build that connection. But today would be a day that I’m quiet and I will listen to what other people post on my thread and then tomorrow I will be much more active. So, take care. Have a great day. Keep safe.

Hot Tubs

September 10, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey everybody. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is hot tubs. Now, hot tubs have a lot of different varieties. There are some that are inexpensive, there are some that have jets all over the place, they have lighting, they have music, they have a pop-up TV. Hot tubs are an affordable way to have a water feature, basically, in your back yard without having to dig a pool. So go to the hot tub store, take some pictures, take some video, show the different models and the different price points. Now in Texas, in Dallas we have the Home and Garden Show which about 17 spa companies come to, so it’s easy to get a lot of these pictures. But if you don’t have that, run to one of the stores around you and talk about hot tubs. It’s something that you would not imagine how many people are interested in and also you can talk about hot tub maintenance. Now on mine I know that during the summer I drain it because I don’t keep it running during the…it’s 110 degrees so why do I need a hot tub? But be sure you drain it so it doesn’t become a mosquito haven. Anyway, Bob McCranie, Texas Pride Realty. There’ll be another realty idea of the day posted tomorrow. Bye-bye.

Tubs vs Showers

September 9, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey, everybody. Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty. And your realty idea of the day is one that we all go through with our buyer or our clients. Showers versus tubs. Are tubs necessary anymore? If you don’t have small children, that’s a really good question. So, some people love to soak in a tub. I don’t have statistics on it, but I would probably say it’s maybe 10% of the population. I’m totally pulling that out of the air. So, maybe we run a poll. Maybe we run a poll on Facebook and any of our social media. Do you want a tub in your next house or a shower? And let’s find out is the tub coming into style, going out of style? Some people love the foot tubs. I don’t like them because I like to shower and when you’re in one of those, the shower curtain moves in because the air pressure from the shower, don’t like it. So, there are a lot of fancy showers out there with all the different nozzles and heads and things like that. So, let’s talk about showers versus tubs and see what our sphere is wanting. And frankly, if they don’t like their bathroom, let’s go sell them a new house. Talk to you later. Bye-bye.

Party Rental Stores

September 8, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey, everyone. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty and your realty idea of the day is party rental stores. Okay. So you’re having a party for a hundred people, what are you gonna do? Well, the party rental stores are great because you can rent tables, you can rent chairs, you can rent dining room stuff. You can rent dishes and silverware, and serving plates, and everything. You don’t have to go buy it, you just rent it.

Every Thanksgiving like I said I think in a previous video, I serve Thanksgiving dinner for 40 people. I rent the glassware and I rent the silverware, and I rent the dishes, and I rent the chairs. So find a party rental store in your area. Maybe go tour their showroom because a lot of party rental places have showrooms you can go look at. Tour the showroom and then take some pictures, and post it out there. And say, “Hey, if you’re having a party for the holidays, here are some ideas and this store is located near you. And by the way, I know the manager.” Put all this on your social media, get it out there. And you’re giving them a pop, and you’re gonna get a pop for it. Take care. Bye-bye.

Dining Rooms

September 8, 2018 · by Bob McCranie

Hey, everybody. It’s Bob McCranie with Texas Pride Realty, and your realty idea of the day is to talk about dining rooms. Everybody has one in their house, most people have used them for something totally different, or it’s the least used part of your house because you eat in the kitchen. But the holidays are coming and dining rooms will become much more important as family gathers and grandkids come over, and you need more space. My fiance and I, we serve Thanksgiving for 40 people and it’s usually outside because I just can’t get 40 people in my house. So, what I would want you to talk about is what are the dining room options for the holidays. Maybe post some pictures from Pinterest about dining rooms that have been well-decorated or made festive for the… Now is the time to start planning this. You don’t just plan Thanksgiving two days before. You need to be planning it now. So get online and start talking to your sphere about what their holiday plans are and how they’re gonna use their dining room, and dress it up. And by the way, if you need a larger dining room, call me, I can help sell you a house. Take care. Bye-bye.
